Test MotoGP Valencia

The Repsol Honda Team concludes satisfactorily the tests in Valencia
Nicky Hayden sets the fastest time and Barros, three tenths behind, finishes fourth
 The preseason tests continue as planned for both Repsol Honda riders. At the Valencian Ricardo Tormo circuit and with good weather conditions, Barros and Hayden have finished the second test day with very similar times to those set yesterday. The day has passed without incidents for any of them, and they have been able to focus on the settings of their bikes, tyres and other small improvements. Barros made a total 158 laps on both days and Hayden 165. After these tests, the riders of the Repsol Honda Team will enjoy some resting days before getting back on their bikes on March 26th for the official IRTA tests in Barcelona. Nicky Hayden, 133.3, 95  laps: We have made many laps, more than ninety, and Ive set the fastest time of the day. I was even faster than the last time I rode here with qualifying tyres. We were hoping to lap on 132, but the track conditions and yesterdays rain & its just been impossible. Were progressing a lot in general terms, now were going to the IRTA tests and then theres the start of the season. Im eager to get on the starting grid, the tests are very important, but Im ready to meet my rivals at the first Grand Prix of the season. Alex Barros, 133.6, 77 laps: Everything worked quite well today. Weve tested different things on the engine start system, weve tested rear tyres, changes on the gearbox…  just to see what works better and to know which path to take. Weve been actually working to get technical information than to set faster times. Its been very positive because we have learned many things.
