Rain spoils Dani Pedrosa´s test plans in Valencia.
Pedrosa decided not to get onto the track and will be back on his Honda RC211V in Malaysia. Nicky Hayden used the day to test tyres, and makes a total of 46 laps.
After the great excitement created yesterday by Dani Pedrosa’s MotoGP debut, the Ricardo Tormo circuit woke up today under a sky covered by black clouds that had been dropping rain throughout the night. With partially wet asphalt in the morning and the rain showing up intermittently, Dani Pedrosa finally decided not to get onto the track under such complicated conditions. In addition to the rain, the low temperatures and the wind where not really inviting to make many tests today on the Valencian track.
One of the few riders who decided to test was Repsol Honda Team rider Nicky Hayden, who after waiting for a long time during the morning to let the track be completely wet, finally made a total of 46 laps to test different wet tyres. After these short tests, Dani Pedrosa and Nicky Hayden will be back on their bikes on November 28, 29 and 30 at the Malayan circuit of Sepang. After these tests both riders will enjoy a deserved rest until January 2006, to continue preparing the 2006 season.
