I was fighting right to the end to get the victory but it was not possible. Yesterday we had some problems that made us lose time and that is the difference today. I am pleased with how things went, although it is a pity, and I want to thank the work the team did, which was excellent. Today we came across more mud, something that is not comfortable for us since on the bike it does not help at all. But we finished without any problems, which is the most important, without any falls, and I was able to reach the end of the stage with a winning time but without being able to cut the gap by enough to get the overall victory.
