Repsol wanted to pay tribute to workers at the company with different duties by publishing a calendar for solidarity…
The calendar is on sale at Repsol Service stations for €5, wiith all the money going to the Fundación Dakar Solidario, which has handed over more than 26 tonnes of medical supplies to 7 hospitals in Mauritania and Senegal during the last two editions of the Lisbon-Dakar Rally. In 2008 the Fundación Dakar Solidario, in addition to giving the medicines required by each hospital, will hand out dozens of wheelchairs, crutches, zimmer frames and other essential material to help those that are physically impaired. The integration of people with impairments, whether physical, psychlogical or sensorial, into the world of work is a commitment that Repsol works towards and is part of the social commitment of the organisations that Repsol works with. In this sense Repsol participates in the Programa INSERTA, part of the Fundación ONCE, to promote the entry of people with disadvantages into its workforce, and to roll out activities which in the field of corporate social responsibility, help to improve the living conditions of people with different impairments.Gonzalo, Department of regulations; Pablo, an administrative worker in the Service Station Business Unit, and Elena, from the administrative department of Human Resources at Campsared, are featured alongside riders like Dani Pedrosa, Nicky Hayden, Ángel Nieto and Marc Coma, in photos that are without a doubt the best example of their strength, affection, desire to improve and their teamwork.
