The meaning of GP2 is easy to explain and can be summed up in a few words: pure and exciting races, high octane number, a lot of power, high speed, loads of decibels in races in which the drivers are a few centimetres separated from each other at 300 Km/h, having to take decisions that will take them to win or loose a race in a thousand of a second. These drivers will be the future heroes of the Formula 1 Championship. This is GP2.With the GP2 Series as the last step, the road to the Formula 1 is complete. With the aim of helping drivers to enter the Formula 1, the GP2 Series is the best way to enter the premier car-racing class well prepared. There is no other series in which a single-seater can be so close to a Formula 1 car as regards look, development and technology.
