The relationship between the young, successful rider Dani Pedrosa and the Spanish oil company, Repsol, is getting tighter. Together, in the most powerful and prize-winning team of recent times in the World Championship, they took the Rookie of the Year award.

From Monday, 19 March, the new Repsol advertising campaign will start on all Spanish TV channels, with a clear and concise message: You might not know who is Dani Pedrosa, neither get excited with an overtaking manoeuvre nor know what slipstreaming is, but the experience gathered by Repsol in high-level competition serves to constantly improve our products, those products that will later be used by the general public.
Dani Pedrosa, who was the main character of the last Repsol advertising campaign in 2006, will be playing the leading role of this new spot as well, this time however co-starring with a stranger, representing all anonymous users of the Repsol products. After the shooting, Pedrosa declared, shooting a spot is always an exciting experience and I’m always surprised when I see the result on TV. I think that this spot is a way to support and to show the effort and the work of Repsol and their engineers, to offer the best products to their final users.The new Repsol spot will be shown on the main Spanish TV channels during prime time, starting from today, Monday, and throughout the 2007 season.
