First and second row on the grid for the Repsol MotoGP riders

Referring to sport, the most outstanding was the timed training session in MotoGP. The battle for the pole saw several riders constantly changing the fastest lap time between them, among these Nicky Hayden who was close to setting the best time, although in the end he had to make do with third position and so tomorrow he can start on the first row of the grid. Dani Pedrosa, who also put in a good timed session, was not able to finish any higher than sixth position on his classification tyres. He needed just one more lap to try and attack and end up with a place on the front row.

In 250cc, the morning began with a very competitive Julián Simón, spending the session among the top six, and finally occupying tenth position. Further back in the morning was Shuhei Aoyama, who found himself in 24th place at the end of the free training. In the afternoon the two Repsol Honda Team 250cc riders improved their times considerably. In the end Simón classified with a time that put him on the second row with the 8th best time and his teammate Aoyama on the third with the 11th best lap time.

The young lads in the Repsol Honda Team 125cc put in a good performance this morning, their first training session in normal conditions at the circuit of Misano. Esteve Rabat set the 11th best time and his teammate Bradley Smith the 12th. In the afternoon, in the second and definitive timed session, the two young Alberto Puig pupils improved considerably compared to the last few races. Esteve Rabat set the 7th best lap time and so is back on the second row of the grid, whilst his companion Bradley Smith was ninth and starts on the third row tomorrow.
