Toni Bou
“I am very happy, for both myself and the team, which is doing an excellent job. Winning my third championship with a result like today’s, with just one point, has been incredible, amazing. This trial seemed easy at the beginning but got more complicated later on; the last area looked impossible and I am convinced that reaching that area as champion gave me the final push. I have felt that I was under a lot of pressure, as an error would have been fatal with everything that was on the line. Such a short and intense championship like this is very stressful, as there is no room for mistakes. But in this respect and with three out of four possible wins, I think we should feel proud of what we are achieving.”
Takahisa Fujinami
“Undoubtedly, today is a great day for Toni and for the team. It has been amazing celebrating his win by accompanying him on the podium. In general, I am totally satisfied with my performance.”
