Alex Criville, “This is a very important day for me, and I’m sure tomorrow will be one of the happiest days of my life because I can finally say goodbye to the fans as I’ve always wanted, riding the bike that won the Championship World. I want to thank you for all Repsol YPF and Honda Racing, and I can only say that tomorrow I will return to the fans everything they have done for me for many years supporting me.
I would also nominate two people who are here for different reasons: a Mick Doohan, because it has been my toughest opponent, a tough enemy in the door, but which finally and once and removed both unites us now friendship. The other person is Dr. Costa, without which many of my successes would not have been possible. What made Dr. Costa and the other doctors with me at times of serious injuries has allowed me to get back on the bike sooner than seemed possible. To everyone, my team and a ton of people that I can not name, thank you very much for everything. “
