She only needs to finish in the top four in the third and last round of the season, which will take place next Saturday in Tanvald (Czech Republic).

Despite what might seem due to the results, this was not an easy victory for Laia Sanz, as yesterday she had a back problem that prevented her from revising the areas and her participation in today’s race was in doubt.

The Repsol Montesa Honda rider had an almost perfect race. With cero points in the first lap and only one mistake in the second, the current champions was close to repeating the cero points result she achieved in the first round of the European Championship.

Laia Sanz will compete tomorrow in Grossheubach (Germany) in the first of the three round of the Trial Feminine World Championship a competitions where she also has ten titles.

Laia Sanz,
“The situation was not good, so I must be satisfied to have been able to compete and, even more, of my victory. I had pain, but at the same time I felt that the bike was working well and I pushed myself to keep the motivation. In the end I thought I would be able to finish without a penalty but in the second-to-last zone I received one. It was a pity, as without these five points I would have finished with cero, as I did en the last round in Rome; it would have been good”.
