Márquez finishes the tests in Valencia

The Repsol rider rides more than 600 kilometres in three positive days while preparing the next round of the World Championship

After three days of testing on the track that will hold in November the last round of the Motorcycling World Championship, Marc Márquez and his team concluded their work at the Valencian track. The Repsol rider completed another 45 laps, with a total in three days of 660 kilometres, where he has tested some new parts for the Suter, as well as gathering some more experience on the Moto2.

Despite being a rookie in the class, the Repsol rider has achieved this year more victories than any other in the intermediate category —6 in 12 rounds already held— a clear sign both of the talent of Emilio Alzamora’s pupil and of the good work he is doing together with his technical team.  These last three days he has being doing some new tests with his Suter, to evaluate new parts from the Swiss constructor.

Following the same testing plan as the last two days, Marc Márquez analyzed today different set-up configurations until noon, when his team and he considered the test finished. The Repsol rider and his team where able to gather more valuable data for the next World Championship round, which will take place this weekend at the Motorland Aragon Circuit, but specially for the last race of the World Championship which will be next November 6th in this track.

“They were three very intense days of work and we are happy with what we did. We kept preparing this weekend’s Grand Prix and gathering kilometres in this circuit, which will be very useful for the last race of the season. At noon we decided to finish the tests and the overall assessment is very positive. I have to thank the team for the good job they’re doing, because we gathered lots of data that will be very important for the next few races”.
