Marc Márquez will not compete in the Comunitat Valenciana GP

The Repsol rider had to take this difficult decision as he is not completely recovered from his sight problems

Marc Márquez tried to wait until the last moment to take advantage of any chance to be able to fight tomorrow for the Moto2 title, but he was not able to recover in time from his sight problems due to the crash he suffered on Friday morning in the Malaysian GP.

Márquez, who waited until the last moment to see if he recovered from his sight problems, will not take part in today’s practice nor in tomorrow’s race, so the Moto2 title will be for Germany’s Stefan Bradl, with whom he has fought a hard battle in the second half of the 2011 season.

Marc takes the runner-up position of the Championship in his debut year in the intermediate category of the Moto2 World Championship, after achieving a brilliant track record in his first year: 7 victories, 11 podiums, 7 pole positions, 10 starts from the first row and 2 fastest lap in race.
