The Repsol rider wins the Italian Grand Prix and achieves his 12th World Championship title, six indoor and another six outdoor.
At only 25, Toni Bou took became today Trial World Champion for the sixth time in a row, thanks to the victory he achieved today at the Italian Grand Prix. The Repsol rider, who achieved the Indoor title last March, has won twelve consecutive World Championships since his first victory in 2007 and ties with Dougie Lampkin’s record, who achieved seven Outdoor and five Indoor World Championships .
Nine victories, a second place and a fourth are the amazing results that allowed the several times World Championship to secure this new title, with the British Grand Prix to go, that will have two separate scoring days.
