Just a few kilometres from the MotorLand Circuit, the Repsol rider enjoys town festivities
Alongside the rest of the ‘quintos’ (those born in 1995 who this year celebrate adulthood), Alex Rins joined in with the festivities in the town of Valdealgorfa this week. Dressed in the Aragonese regional costume, the ‘baturro’, the Repsol rider was part of the traditional dances, avoiding the toro de fuego (fire bull) and other activities typical of the celebrations. Rins was accompanied by friends, family and fellow townspeople.
Despite the celebratory mood, the Spaniard did not neglect his training for a single day, and continued to prepare for a tough weekend during his stay in Valdealgorfa. After taking his fourth victory of the year at Misano, Rins takes part in a home round this time out -cheered on by people from his town and beyond.
