MotoGP riders support best proposals linked to Repsol values, such as transparency, responsibility, safety and integrity.
Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa have joined the ‘ValorEs Repsol’ (Repsol Values) challenge, in an event held at the auditorium of the energy company’s headquarters. The riders, joined by Repsol President, Antonio Brufau, used their presence to back the most innovative proposals aimed to represent the identity of Repsol, such as responsibility, transparency, safety, integrity and flexibility, offered up by workers in recent months.
After a talk by Antonio Brufau, a chat was undertaken with the Repsol riders, in which Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa showed their support for this corporate initiative and explained how they use Repsol values in their sporting careers. “What I would highlight about my team is the human qualities, transparency, which provides confidence in critical situations, flexibility and open mindedness,” said Marquez. “It is very important that every member gives their best for the collective,” concluded Pedrosa.
The ‘ValorEs Repsol’ challenge is an initiative created to find out how workers at the company use Repsol values in their everyday lives, identifying the best use of them and how to develop, implement and export them to the rest of the setup. Directed at all businesses and corporate areas of Repsol, the challenge featured the participation of 7,785 people from 24 countries, contributing 9,174 individual and team examples.
Repsol regards every proposal as a valuable experience and, for this reason, the company has donated 10 euros to charity initiatives for every idea offered. In total, 91,740 euros have been given to the 15 projects put in place by the Repsol Foundation.
