Repsol Honda rider, who turns 21 today, has become one of the most precocious talents in the history of the MotoGP World Championship.

Few people have achieved as much success before the age of 21 as Marc Marquez. At his youthful age he already holds an extensive list of records from his time in three World Championship categories. He debuted in the 125cc World Championship ‒with Repsol support‒ in the 2008 season, moved up to Moto2 in 2011 and last season made the leap up to the premier class. In all three categories he was crowned champion, and in all three categories he rode with Repsol colours.

Marquez has stood out from the very first day that he got on a bike, at 4 years old, but the most recent campaign saw him write his name in MotoGP history with an astonishing series of milestones and records. Amongst such honours were his becoming the youngest rider to win a premier class race, the youngest MotoGP World Championship leader and, finally, the youngest rider to take the title. All this, achieved before the age of 21.
