Fabio Quartararo, 2013 Moto3 Spanish Champion will join this week the World Championship caravan to compete in France in the second round of the FIM CEV Repsol 2014.
Le Mans Circuit will be this weekend the venue of the first of the two international rounds of this year’s FIM CEV Repsol. It will be a very special meeting for the current Moto3 Champion, Fabio Quartararo, who has never competed in the French track, and this weekend will have the chance to do so as the local rider.
At 14, Frenchman Quartararo impressed last season by taking the title in his debut year at the CEV Repsol, being the youngest rider of the grid. Twelve months later and with the title, he arrives in France joint overall leader with the same points as Maria Herrera, after they took a win each in the first round of the season, which had two races.
After the first contact with the French track last week during a private test, the Moto3 riders of the FIM CEV Repsol will be able to compete in the World Championship circuit, sharing the track with their idols. They will have two timed practice sessions on Friday and the race on Saturday, at 16:30 (CET).
