The French rider mathematically secures his second consecutive championship 3 races before the end.
Last year Fabio Quartararo became the youngest champion of the FIM CEV Repsol and this year he continued with his winning ways. With 6 victories and 2 second places of the 8 races already held, he took again the title of the Moto3 class. With this second success, Quartararo makes history once again in the championship, as he becomes the first rider who wins the title twice in the smallest displacement class. This video shows how the two-times Champion is, both in and out of the track.
The French rider arrived to the Autódromo do Algarve with an advantage of 52 points over Jorge Navarro, the only rider left with chances to grab the title from Quartararo. But the official confirmation that the rider from Valencia will not take part in tomorrow’s race automatically gives the Moto3 Champion of the FIM CEV Repsol title to Quartararo for the second year in a row, with 3 races left.
