The dream of many children is to become a World Championship rider, the next Marquez or Pedrosa, and Alex Millan has already started on his way to achieving this.
The holiday season is when the wishes of youngsters come true and imagination knows no bounds. Christmas time is when Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa’s journey to the top began, as they received their first bikes. From that moment on, step-by-step, they continued their progress to eventually share a garage for the Repsol Honda Team.
With those two riders as a reference, 10 year-old Alex Millan already has experience of competition. In 2014 he was proclaimed champion of the Promo Racc-2 promotion cup that is used as a trampoline for young talents. This year, Millan will continue taking steps forward to one day make his World Championship dream come true.
Who knows if in the future it will be he who has the support of Repsol, who since 1969 have maintained a commitment to sport through motorsport sponsorship. Not only at the elite level of the World Championship, but also with youth training projects through the agreement reached in 2013 with Monlau Competition and involvement in the FIM CEV Repsol.
