The Repsol Honda rider will compete this weekend in the second round of the X-Trial World Championship.

The second round of the Indoor Trial World Championship will start next Saturday in Marseille. After the first round in Sheffield, where Toni Bou dominated and achieved his first victory of the season, the Repsol Honda rider will try to take in France his 28th consecutive win in the series.

You got your first victory at the first round in Sheffield. How do you see the 2015 World Championship?
“Complicated, as always. I was nervous at the beginning, but very happy with the win. To start winning is very important because it gives you tranquillity for the rest of the championship. We got rid of the first nerves, but it will be complicated, as always, because the Indoor World Championship is very short, only six races, so we’ll probably have to suffer.”

You have not been beaten at the X-Trial since 2010. Do you feel pressure to keep this record?
“This winning streak has been very long and I’m sure that it will end, sooner or later. I’m very competitive, so I’ll fight to try and make it as long as possible, but I know it will be difficult. They are 27 consecutive wins and it’s very difficult to repeat it, so I’ll try to enjoy it while it lasts.”

Last year you had to recover from an injury. Are you again on top form?
“Yes, I recovered completely from my injury. It’s already forgotten. I’m sure that this year it’s possible that things like that happen again, as it’s very long, but I’m at 100% now.”

Did you improve the bike for this season?
“Yes, we’re working on it. We’ll have new parts from February and we hope they work well, but we’re very happy with the performance the bike showed last year and we hope it works equally well this season.”

How do you see your rivals this season?
“They’re always very strong. Last year, especially during the Outdoor World championship, Adam [Raga] pushed until the very end. At the Indoor World Championship, Albert [Cabestany] also pushes, as well as Adam, so my rivals will be the same as last year. There are also young riders that start this season, but I think it will be the most experienced riders who will make things difficult for me.”

Make a personal and a professional wish for 2015.
“The personal wish is to continue living my life with my family, because everything is great up to now. Professionally, of course, to repeat in 2015 the triumphs we had in 2013 and 2014, as well as the previous year, as they have been great. It will be difficult, but we’ll try.”

A year ago we saw you riding with Marquez and Pedrosa. Did you meet them again?
“Yes, I’ve met Marc more often, because we live close and I was able to do some things with him and enjoyed them. I hope I can do the same this year with Dani.”

What do you expect from the MotoGp World Championship this season?
“I wish a lot of success for the Repsol team, as they have two really great riders. Marc is winning everything and I hope he does this year too. And I also wish the best for Dani too.”
