Two-time FIM CEV Repsol champion has been an instant standout in the World Championship, with a podium and fourth place in the overall standings.

The Moto3 World Championship has begun the 2015 season with a standout student in Fabio Quartararo. His resumé as a two-time FIM CEV Repsol champion gave him special dispensation to enter the Grand Prix scene, despite having yet to reach the minimum age requirement of 16. Today he celebrates that milestone birthday. After completing the first three races of the season at two unfamiliar circuits, the Repsol rider has already shown his talent.

From the first moment, Quartararo has been up amongst the frontrunners. He took second place in the second GP of the season, held in Austin, USA. Seventh place from his debut in Qatar and sixth yesterday in Argentina have added to his excellent start in Grand Prix racing, placing him fourth in the overall standings. His 39-point tally leaves him just a point off third. After three races outside of Europe, the series heads to a more familiar track to Quartararo in a fortnight’s time: The Circuito de Jerez, where he has ridden many times in the FIM CEV Repsol.
