The Repsol Honda rider won the two days of the trial held at Sokolov. Takahisa Fujinami finished in fourth position and Jaime Busto, fifth.
Four wins of four up for grabs for the World Champion. As he did yesterday, Toni Bou secured the victory in the second day of the Czech Republic Trial, held in the forests of Sokolov. An excellent second lap of the rider from Piera – where he set the best score of the day – allowed him to beat his rivals and gather another 20 points that consolidate his overall lead, with an advantage of 18 points.
His team mate at the Repsol Honda, Takahisa Fujinami, fought for the first places during most of the round. As his knee did not bother him, the Japanese was able to recover the good feeling on the bike and take the final fourth place.
After his fourth position yesterday, Jaime Busto did not start today with the same pace, as he made some mistakes during the first lap. Nevertheless, the Basque rider improved and finished the day with the third best partial result, which gave him the final fifth place.
After the Czech Republic GP, the World Championship will not rest, as the riders will face next week the Swedish Trial Grand Prix, third round of the calendar.

“The weekend went well. Yesterday I was calm and today it was a bit more complicated; I was third in the first lap, but my second lap was very good, with a good recovery. I know I cannot always win, but I’m very satisfied with the lap I did with only four points. It is also a consequence of having trained for the non-stop system during the winter. I don’t like it, but I need to make an effort to do it. The third lap was good to control de situation. I’m really happy with how the weekend went and with the start of the Championship.”

“I’m happy with today’s fourth place, although I finished out of the podium. In this second day I made some mistakes so I think I can improve in the next races. I also want to congratulate Toni for his four victories and also Jaime for his good results. The team did a great job this weekend.”

“Today I didn’t start well. I tried to focus but nothing seemed to go my way. The first lap was terrible and the second too. In the third it went well and I was able to improve my riding to get a much better result.”
