Repsol Honda rider becomes first to achieve at least one win in 16 consecutive Grand Prix seasons.
Dani Pedrosa’s win at the Spanish Grand Prix made history in Grand Prix racing. The Repsol Honda rider put in a dominant performance for his 30th victory in the premier class -his 53rd in all classes-, moving to 10 points off the lead of the MotoGP World Championship after four rounds of the 2017 campaign.
The victory means that Pedrosa is the first rider ever to achieve a win at least once for 16 consecutive seasons, a feat without precedent in the World Championship. He also moves level with Giacomo Agostini for 12 consecutive years winning in the premier class.
