Jorge Lorenzo has put in his first laps at the Losail International Circuit in Qatar, kicking off the final preseason test for 2019.
After sitting out the Malaysian test with an injury to his left wrist, Jorge Lorenzo today rode his first laps onboard the Honda RC213V sporting Repsol Honda Team colours. The test started at 4:00pm local time, but the Spaniard did not go out on track until 5:30pm.
The action will continue tomorrow, Sunday and Monday, as part of the final preparations for the upcoming 2019 MotoGP season, which gets underway in a fortnight with the opening Grand Prix of the year -also held in Qatar.
