Repsol Honda return to MotorLand Aragón

After achieving two consecutive podiums, Álex Márquez competes again this weekend at the Spanish track. Stefan Bradl is optimistic about improving on his result from last week.

Álex Márquez arrives at the Teruel Grand Prix in his best form of the season. The Spanish Repsol Honda Team rider has managed to finish the last two races in second position, allowing him to move level on points with Brad Binder in the fight for Rookie Of The Year.

Including the result from last Sunday, Márquez has three podiums from his last five visits to MotorLand.

Stefan Bradl will continue to work to improve his performance on the RC213V. The German rider goes into the twelfth round of the season with the aim of scoring some points.

This Sunday’s MotoGP race will be held at 13pm CEST.

ÁLEX MÁRQUEZ:

“I’m looking forward to riding again at Aragon after a strong weekend last time. We will really need to work hard to keep at the front because I think many other riders will be able to make a step, like I have done in the past, at the second race. The goal remains the same: to work on our plan and try to make another step in qualifying. We have now been able to get into Q2 but there’s still work to do. If we can continue in the way we have been going these past races I will be very happy.”

STEFAN BRADL:

“Towards the end of the weekend last week we began to feel more comfortable with the new setting of the bike, continuing in this direction is the goal for this second weekend at MotorLand. The Honda is working really well here and there’s a lot of potential, I’m really motivated to come back and keep working hard with the Repsol Honda Team to fight for points and further forward. Hopefully it isn’t as cold this week!”
