Spanish rider completes two-day runout with good feeling ahead of the Dutch TT Assen.
The Motorland Aragon Circuit hosted two intense days of testing for Alex Marquez and his team. Just four days after taking the first victory in the World Championship for the Honda NSF250RW, rider and crew continued with the development of the bike by putting in more than 780km. Teammate Alex Rins was unable to participate due to injury to his left foot, sustained last Saturday at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
The Repsol Moto3 rider concluded the test after a total of some 154 laps of the Spanish track, analysing different solutions for his chassis to use at forthcoming races. Marquez lowered the times he had set during the test in May at the same track.
With all the data from these two days of testing collected, the next challenge for the team will come next weekend at the Dutch TT Assen –round 8 of the season.

“In the test we did at Mugello we could not test all the developments that we would have liked due to my crash, but these two days we had the opportunity to do all the testing we had planned and we are very pleased, because we have improved some things with the bike. We have also discarded some adjustments that were not going well for us, and that’s important because that way we eliminate doubts and we can have things much clearer and well defined. Ahead of the Dutch TT, this test leaves us even more motivated.”
