The Repsol Honda rider won the second edition of the duel against his brother Marc by a narrow 3 – 4 margin, reversing the result of the first edition in which Marc was the winner.
This Sunday the two teams formed by journalists and headed by Marc and Álex Márquez met again. Repeating the first duel that took place in February at Campus Repsol, Álex’s team – made up of Mela Chércoles, Chechu Lázaro, Nico Abad and a Box Repsol fan – achieved their objective and defeated Marc’s team, made up of Nico De Vicente, Izaskun Ruiz, Jaime Martín and another Box Repsol fan.
Tests such as drawing, guessing answers to trick questions and putting a price on a toy motorbike, among others, were the protagonists of this #GPMarquezBros2020. Repsol has once again offered both teams and all the fans a good contest full of originality, jokes, laughter and, above all and as always, a lot of competitiveness.
MARC MÁRQUEZ:
“I am happy to have participated in the rematch. Because of the situation we’ve been through, doing things like this via video call is already part of our lives and I think it’s very good content for the fans. Box Repsol has once again taken a very good initiative towards the public. Still, I’m looking forward to a third “round” to beat Álex and his team like we did the first time!
