Repsol Moto3 riders conclude two days of testing at MotorLand Aragon, in which they worked on further developing the Honda NSF250RW with the home straight of the season in mind.
After the one-two at Silverstone last weekend, Alex Rins and Alex Marquez kept up the pace this week in preparation for the remaining 6 races. Both riders spent the past two days at MotorLand Aragon, preparing their Honda NSF250RW machines for the upcoming challenges.
Having collected a wealth of data, the pair will sit down with technicians to establish their plan for the exhaustive final stage of the season, which begins with the San Marino round on September 14th and a return to Aragon on September 28th.
With track temperatures reaching 50ºC, the Repsol Moto3 riders completed their scheduled testing programme focused especially on chassis setup. They gathered plenty of useful information for the team technicians in the process, as Rins put in a combined 147 laps over the two days and Marquez 115.
The next challenge for the Repsol riders will be the San Marino Grand Prix at Misano, which takes place from September 12th.

“These two days have been very important for preparing the next Grand Prix in San Marino and the round here in Aragon. The things that we tried out have been very positive and I think that we will return here well prepared. Despite the heat, we are happy because we were able to complete our entire programme for the two days”.
Alex Marquez
115 laps, 584 km
“We have had two very hot days of testing. This test has been useful, above all for preparing ourselves for San Marino. We were also able to try out some parts that have arrived here and which have helped us to develop the bike. I think that the two days have been positive for Misano, but will also be useful for the Aragon Grand Prix itself”.
