This is the first day at a circuit that is new for me. From the beginning I liked the track and I did not feel too bad. This morning, if I had had another lap I think I could have gone one second faster which would have been good enough to finish 8th or 9th. This afternoon the conditions changed, first dry then wet and then dry again, but it did not go too badly. Obviously it could have gone a little better. I am sure that Nieto used slicks, so perhaps that would have been better, but compared to the rest of the riders I am more or less the same as them. So with it being the first day I am pleased and I can`t wait for tomorrow. I hope it does not rain and we can improve a bit more.
