Márquez brothers honoured in Cervera for their titles in Moto2 World Championship and Spanish series.
Whether on a bike or on foot, with family or with friends, those in Cervera, Lleida were out in force to salute Marc and Álex Márquez for their titles: The Moto2 World Championship and the Spanish Moto3 crown. After signing the town’s Book of Honour, the Repsol riders led a cavalcade through the streets of the town, reaching a stage specially prepared for the occasion.
Both were able to say a few words of thanks to all present, in a fitting tribute after a year of records for Marc Márquez, double World Champion, and his brother Álex, who won the CEV and is currently a Moto3 World Championship rider. Marc and Álex will now enjoy a few days away from the busy atmosphere of the paddock, before the final race of the season: The Valencia Grand Prix on Sunday, November 11th.
