I am pleased to be going directly to the American GP because it means that I can carry on with what the great feeling we have had since the victory in Germany. The result in Germany was fantastic for me and for the team and I hope that we can carry on along the same lines. Last year we got a good result at Laguna Seca, which was great taking into account the fact that it was my first visit to the circuit. I remember that it was very hot even worse than the conditions we had last weekend in Germany; I hope that it is not like that again because it is a real killer to ride in those type of conditions. The circuit has been resurfaced again this year, so we are facing a new surface on a new bike. This will give us a lot of work to do during the training sessions, looking for the right tyres and the right set up that will get the best performance out of the RC212V. I really hope that we can get the same performance that we had in Germany. The team and Michelín did a great job there. I quite like the circuit of Laguna because it is a challenge concerning the engine preparation and the set up on the bike. There is an interesting variety of curves and it is important to get a good balance, between the slow curves and the faster ones. We are going to see what conditions are in store for us and whether it is possible to repeat the success we had last weekend.
