Today Dani Pedrosa confirmed that he will participate in the first race of the 2009 World Championship, something he explained to his fans on his blog posted on the repsol.com website. So once again the rider has restarted his most direct line of communication with his fans; all of whom are able to read his personal views every Monday.
This time, and after a patient recovery that has taken five weeks, the Repsol rider says that he is prepared for the first race of the year. The work done to recover his flexibility and strength along with periodic check-ups over the last few weeks have all helped him to get fit from both the fracture on his arm, radius, and the operation on his left knee. He has recovered faster than expected and the lay-off will not be enough to stop him from being on the grid for the first race of the 2009 season alongside all the other riders.
