This year, Dani Pedrosa will no longer wear the No. 26 the Repsol Honda Team rider was always identified with. During the 2008 season, the rider from Castellar de Vallès will sport a No. 2 on the bodywork of his bike, thanks to the second position clinched in the 2007 World Championship.

It is further proof of his intentions for the season that kicks off next March 9th in Qatar, his way of warning that in 2008, he is only one step away and there is only one acceptable result: the one which will allow him to bear No. 1 when this World Championship sees the checkered flag fall again.
