Jorge Lorenzo’s first day with Repsol Honda, in previously unseen photos from the Valencia test.

On November 20th, 2018, two days after the conclusion of the MotoGP season, Jorge Lorenzo was in the Repsol Honda garage and riding the RC213V for the first time. For contractual reasons, there were shots of the Valencia test that could not be shown until now. These are the most important moments of Lorenzo’s first day as a Repsol Honda rider, beginning with the first shot of him and teammate Marc Márquez together in the garage.

The pictures show him in his first encounter with the reigning World Champion in the box, his first conversations with HRC engineers, his receiving instructions from crew chief Ramón Aurín, posing for Dorna and leaving the Repsol Honda truck with his leathers, ready to get to grips with the Honda RC213V.

Marc Márquez and Jorge Lorenzo will be together for their first official event as Repsol Honda teammates at the team presentation, which takes place on January 23rd at Campus Repsol -the energy company’s headquarters in Madrid.
