Marc Márquez said in his press conference at Campus Repsol that solidity has been one of the improvements that has been made this season with respect to previous campaigns. After a winter affected by an operation to treat a shoulder issue, Márquez has been in top form since the 2019 World Championship began. Whenever he has taken the chequered flag, he has done so in either first or second position – an unfortunate crash at Austin the only blot on his copybook.
The 26-year-old achieved his eighth title -his sixth in MotoGP- working harder than ever and riding in a way that is as exciting as always. From the first podium achieved in Qatar, through to the triumph last Sunday in Thailand, Márquez has ridden an almost perfect season in which he has wowed fans once again.
