In the first text that the Catalunyan driver has written for racing fans he admits that “the decision to compete in the World Series was a difficult one to make, given that he had received some good offers and opportunities to race in the championship that runs in parallel to this one, the GP2 Series, but in the end both he and Red Bull understood that the best thing to do was to follow in the steps of Sebastian Vettel, and with just one objetive: to win the title”.
On his debut as a blogger, Jaime Alguersuari also introduces himself: “I was 19 a short time ago and I live in Barcelona. Normally I spend my days training in the gymnasium or in the headquarters of Red Bull in Austria buut I still have to find time to study Philosophy and the History of Art“. The Repsol driver admits that he is a fan of electronic music and promises that, sometime in the near future, he will put some of the sessions that he has mixed over the last six years as disc jockey on his blog.
The driver will publish a text every Monday, one that will also reflect what he feels in the competition he wants to win, he will also explain aspects of his personal life and the work and development that he makes in his quest to become, in the near future, an official Formula 1 driver.
This blog joins the one that Dani Pedrosa presented, with excellent results, on Repsol.com last week (376 comments in the first week). Both initiatives are part of Repsol.com`s efforts to give fans a chance to write to their favourite riders and drivers directly without any intermediaries.
