Biography
Born in La Pobla de Vallbona, 20 kilometers from Valencia, Jorge Navarro is the new promise of the region that has produced legends like Jorge Martínez ‘Aspar’ and Ricardo Tormo. At 19 years of age, after several wildcard appearances in 2012 and 2013 and competing in the second half of the 2014 World Championship, in 2015 Navarro begin his first full season in the Moto3 World Championship in the Monlau Repsol Technical School structure.
Navarro took his first steps as a rider in the Cuna de Campeones, where he passed through every category from Minimotos to PreGP, including stints in MiniGP 110 and 140. In 2013 he debuted in the CEV Repsol with a creditable sixth place overall, which he surpassed in 2014 with the runner-up spot after scoring one win and four podiums. His good performances did not go unnoticed and he earned a place in the World Championship for the second half of the season, managing to score in four of the nine races in which he participated.
For 2015 he will face the challenge of a first full World Championship campaign, within the ranks of last season’s title-winning team.
