Laia Sanz (Repsol Montesa – HRC) was the winner of the second round of the Women`s European Trial Championship held today, Sunday, in Pragelato Italy. This victory, added to the one she got in the previous round in May in Krzeszowice (Poland) – puts Laia Sanz in the enviable situation of being close to getting what will be her eighth consecutive European title.
All she needs to do is finish 3rd in the final round of the championship next Saturday 25th July in Tanval (Czech Republic), to add another title to her impressive collection.
Laia Sanz did an impeccable first lap on a circuit which in her opinion, except for a couple of zones, was not too difficult. After the first lap without any penalisation the Repsol Montesa – HRC rider picked up four penalty points on the second.

“I rode just as I wanted, calmly and staying really concentrated so as not to make any mistakes which on this circuit would have been difficult to have recovered. I am particularly satisfied with my first lap. On the second I suffered from some zealous controls from the judges on more than one occasion. But well, what counts is the result and the victory which take me closer to another title”.
