At his museum in Cervera, the Repsol Honda Team rider inaugurates an exhibition of eight paintings created with a Honda CBR1000RR
Just days before the first preseason test of 2020 in Malaysia, Marc Márquez attended the media on Wednesday to inaugurate a special exhibition. Over the course of a week, the 8-time World Champion’s museum in Cervera will display eight paintings created by the rider himself, using the accelerator of a bike. The artistic side of the MotoGP star was shown in the paintings, which celebrate, alongside Box Repsol, his eight world titles.
Upon unveiling the exhibition, the Repsol Honda rider described what it was like to paint using the gas and clutch to control the paint. Satisfied with the result, Márquez is keen to repeat the initiative to mark a ninth title in 2020.
