The Repsol Honda Team riders put themselves to the test in a quiz about renewable fuels, in which answering right or wrong will leave a very different taste in their mouths.
Marc Márquez and Joan Mir are experienced in managing pressure on the track, but off it they showed their mettle this week in a quiz about renewable fuels -an effective solution to reducing emissions and which will be a reality in MotoGP from 2024.
The Repsol Honda Team riders use their knowledge to get one over on each other with high stakes: Whoever gets an answer wrong has to eat a jellybean that could either be sweet… or sour.
Márquez has already had the opportunity to test renewable fuels, when he rode at the legendary Jarama circuit a few months ago. In Spain, all the fuels at service stations already include more than 10% biofuel, and Repsol have nearly 30 garages spread between Spain and Portugal where you can use fuel from 100% renewable sources.
