The Repsol Honda rider was the man to watch in his first year in MotoGP, becoming the youngest champion in history.

Not even in his wildest dreams had Marc Marquez imagined that 2013 would work out as well as it did. MotoGP World Champion, with 6 wins and 16 podium finishes from 18 Grands Prix, and the setter of numerous records along the way, the 20 year old made a grand entrance in the premier class.

It was with the same colours used this year –and seen on cover after cover of the worldwide press– that a 15 year-old Marc Marquez debuted on the world stage in the 125cc class. Six years on, as a winner of titles in that class and in Moto2 from 2010 and 2012, Marquez shone in 2013 from the first race to the last. Lap by lap, he wrote one of the most spectacular chapters in the history of the sport, stunning MotoGP with his talent and ever-present smile. The Spanish rider approaches 2014 as determined and motivated as ever.
