Rider visits the Repsol Technology Centre to see how fuel for Repsol Honda Team is developed and produced.

Double world champion Marc Márquez has seen firsthand all the details of the fuel that will power his bike in the Repsol Honda team next season. During a visit to the Repsol Technology Centre, where he talked about teamwork and unbreakable spirit with a group of scientists and researchers, Márquez was shown all the details behind the development and production of fuel for top competition.

After testing at the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Cheste for the first time with his new bike, the Repsol rider has continued to adapt to the team, getting to know the laboratories that design and produce fuels for the famous team. The Repsol Technology Centre has a unit specialising in race fuels, which works closely with the Honda factory in Japan to get the best out of the 21 litres used in every race in MotoGP.

Márquez already know what benefit the work carried out in these facilities has. In 2010 he got his first world title, in 125cc, with a competition fuel and lubricant developed exclusively at the Repsol Technology Centre.

Marc Márquez
“If I can, every year I make the most of the opportunity to visit the Repsol Technology Centre, as it is always an eye-opener. Every part of the machine is important and the lubricants and fuels are obviously fundamental for the bike. I also like that on these visits we can give all the employees some extra motivation. It is very interesting to see how everything is developed and know what your bike is using.”
