We spent 72 hours with the MotoGP Repsol rider during a Grand Prix weekend.

When does Dani eat, how many hours does he sleep, when does he wake up…?
We have made a virtual follow-up of Dani during a Grand Prix to know all these little secrets of a Repsol rider. His days are perfectly planned down to the last detail, to allow the rider to keep concentrated throughout the weekend.

 

  • Friday and Saturday 07.30h.
    – Wake-up call: 08.00h.
    – Breakfast: 08.15h.
    – Departure from the hotel to the circuit: 08.45h.
    – Arrival at the circuit: 09.30h.
    – Dani gets dressed for the first free practice: 09.55h.
    – Dani enters the garage to start the practice: 10.00h.
    – First free practice: 11.00h.
    – End of the free practice: 11.05h.
    – Meeting with the team in the pit garage to discuss the practice: 12.30h.
    – Lunch time at the Repsol Honda Team Hospitality: 13.30h.
    – Dani gets dressed for the second practice session: 13.55h.
    – He enters the garage to start the practice: 14.00h.
    – Free or qualifying practice (Friday or Saturday): 15.00h.
    – End of the practice: 15.05h.
    – Meeting with the team in the garage: 15.20h.
    – He takes off the racing suit to put on the team clothing: 16.30h.
    – He meets the media at the Hospitality of the Repsol Honda Team: 17.00h.
    – He continues the meeting with the team in the garage: 19.00h.
    – Departure from the circuit to the hotel: 20.30h.
    – Dinner: 22.00h.
    – He retires to his room to get some sleep
  • Sunday: 07.15h.
    – Wake-up call: 07.45h.
    – Breakfast: 08.00h.
    – Departure from the hotel to the circuit: 08.30h.
    – Arrival at the circuit: 09.15h.
    – Dani gets dressed for the warm-up: 09.40h.
    – He enters the garage for the warm-up: 09.45h.
    – Warm up: 10.10h.
    – Meeting with the team: 11.15h.
    – He watches the 125cc race on TV: 12.00h.
    – Lunch time: 12.30h.
    – He watches the 250cc race on TV: 13.15h.
    – Dani gets dressed for the race: 13.35h.
    – He enters the garage: 14.00h.
    – MotoGP race: 15.00h.
    – Official press conference (if he finishes on the podium): 15.45h.
    – He meets the media at the Repsol Honda Team Hospitality (if he hasnt finished on the podium): 16.15h.
    – Meeting with the team: 18.00h.
    – Departure from the circuit Dani travels back home on Sunday evening or Monday morning
