This was a very complicated Baja and I would have liked everything to have gone a little better. But races are like this. I think that those in the lead were a bit more skilled, both Stéphane Peterhansel as well as Colin McRae drove very well and all I can do is congratulate them. Today`s stage was a bit strange for me because at the beginning I did not have a good pace and so I did not go too fast. I went at a slow pace and I do not know exactly why. When I saw the first blackboard I got faster and I went flat out right to the end of the race. What is true is that I am goiing fast and that is the most difficult thing. I have to do the stages more cleanly, without making the small mistakes that make me lose a few minutes. There were some positive things, we will have to analyse the negatives too and wait for next year`s race.
