“It is very satisfactory to win the title once more, as to achieve that feat ten years in a row is very difficult. During this time my rivals have changed, some of the riders that competed here when I won for the first time are gone and some others arrived, and I kept working to achieve the aim to improve all the time. It was a nearly perfect championship. I say nearly thinking about the five-point penalty I received in the last round, which in my opinion was dubious, and without them I would have finished the championship with zero points”.
