Pacific GP. Preview. Driver´s comments

Dani Pedrosa: ‘I adapt myself very well to Motegi; things have always worked fine for me there and I hope it will continue like it this time’.
Valentino Rossi: For me the end of the season is coming good. We make three good races in a row; all the team are working very well and we are in a strong position in the championship. I feel very focused at the moment to get the best result in the last four hard races and keep the concentration for the championship. This time last year we were having some troubles with the machine and in the last four races of the season we only take one win. I feel now we really understand the bike and we hope for more success. Nicky Hayden: Im really enjoying myself in the GPs at the moment and am real lookin forward to the last four races. Were workin real good as a team and I think we are a real competitive package at the moment. Learnin new tracks has never really been a problem for me but I am lookin forward to getting back to Sepang and Phillip Island where I have tested before and getting on pace real quick. Ill be pushin real hard for a front row start or a podium before the seasons out; preferably both. I think its a realistic target.  Fonsi Nieto: Motegi is a circuit I dont dislike, although it is not one of my favourites. I set the pole last year but finished fourth in the race. We depend very much on the weather in the coming Grand Prix. Right now Poggiali has an important advantage in the overall standings, but there are still four difficult races ahead and anything can happen. Weve had a run of bad luck for several races now, but what happened in Brazil has been left behind and we arrive in Motegi with a positive mentality, eager to move forward in the overall standings. I just hope that it wont rain and that everything can be normal, letting us work at a hundred percent. Toni Elias: Motegi is not one of my favourite circuits. It is has very fast corners and a sequence of slow corners linked by small straights. Therefore you need a good general set-up, the rhythm changes constantly. Last year I took my first victory in this class here. It was a very nice race. I was second behind Melandri and I took the victory in the last corner. Id like to repeat it, even more after what happened in Brazil. I want to remove the thorn from my side and I can only make it with a victory. The hunt for the title has become more difficult, 39 points are a lot, but there are four races left and anything can happen. Dani Pedrosa: The result in Brazil increased our advantage in the overall standings but there are still a hundred points at stake and anything can happen in the races, so we have to keep concentrated until the very end. I adapt myself very well to Motegi; things have always worked fine for me there and I hope it will continue like it this time. Now we have three races in a row and it will be very important not to make any mistake and to score as many points as possible.
