Rain brings Marc Márquez’ tests in Valencia to an early end

Marc Márquez’ good sensations over the last two days at the Circuit de la Comunitat Valenciana Ricardo Tormo are the positive baggage he takes from the first official test that the 125cc riders have carried out this season. With the asphalt soaking wet and the rain constantly pelting down, precaution has brought activity to an early end at the Valencia circuit and Márquez will not put on his racing suit again until next Saturday at the Jerez Circuit.

After clocking up the overall best time in this test yesterday, Marc Márquez and his team have approved the work done fine tuning the set-up on Monday and Tuesday. As a precaution, they decided to cancel the tests planned for today, due to the lack of grip of the asphalt at the Circuit de la Comunitat Valenciana. The rain advised against taking too many risks and with the season about to start, the Repsol rider decided to head to the south of Spain. A three-day test will be held at the Jerez circuit, where another three-day test will be held at the end of March, between 27 and 29, bringing the 2010 pre-season to an end.
