The last test day for Marc Márquez, before the winter ban imposed by the regulations during December and January, has been cancelled due to the cold and the rain. The Repsol rider held onto his options to get on the Moto2 he will compete on next year until the last day, but finally, he ruled out riding today, given the complicated weather conditions.
Márquez was able to debut on his new bike less than a week ago in Jerez and in order to continue adapting to the new category, he had a final few test days scheduled in which to continue to get to grips with the characteristics of Moto2. With the track wet, the asphalt at a temperature that did not guarantee grip and the rain falling intermittently, caution reigned at the 125cc World Champion’s garage, postponing the next test with the bike on which he will compete next season until February.
