Stoner, Pedrosa and Márquez star in a surprise-filled afternoon for Repsol riders in Madrid.
Repsol riders Casey Stoner, Dani Pedrosa, Marc Márquez and the young Moto3 future stars were the focal points of a spectacular gala yesterday night. At the Palacio de Deportes de la Comunidad de Madrid in front of 9,000 fans, Spanish energy company Repsol presented their riders for the 2012 MotoGP World Championship season. The highlight of a surprise-filled night was the entrance of reigning MotoGP World Champion Casey Stoner, onboard the new Honda RC213V.
Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa in MotoGP, Marc Márquez in Moto2 and the trio of Maverick Viñales, Miguel Oliveira and Álex Rins in Moto3 are the stars in the Repsol lineup for the 8th April season start in Qatar for the three MotoGP series. CEV Spanish National series Moto3 riders Álex Márquez and María Herrera were also in attendance at the presentation.
The presentation served as a prelude to the X-Trial Madrid event, won by Repsol rider Toni Bou.
