The Repsol Honda Team rider will start from fourth position and Pol Espargaró from eighth on the starting grid for the Aragon GP.
Rain stayed away at MotorLand Aragón and every session on Saturday was held in sunny conditions. Marc Márquez and Pol Espargaró were among the fastest riders on track, qualifying on the second and third rows of the grid.
Despite the close times in Free Practice in the morning, the two Repsol Honda Team riders managed to go directly into Q2, with Espargaró occupying seventh position and Márquez eighth.
Márquez also led FP4, showing a strong pace for tomorrow’s race. In Q2 he set a best time of 1:46.736, just 4 tenths off pole position, and claimed fourth place.
Espargaró was inside the Top 10 during every session, and finished Q2 in eighth thanks to a 1:47.194. He was 8 tenths behind poleman Francesco Bagnaia.
The MotoGP Aragon GP will take place tomorrow at 2pm local time.
